have found that by following a regimen and sticking to that is truly the key to clear and hydrated skin. I like to take my time at night and not only clean my skin but also use some essential products to be preventative to what my skin is prone to do. I always start this routine with properly removing all the makeup on my face using a Neutrogena “makeup remover cleansing wipes” (1). Next I use my Rodan & Fields Redefine Regimen (2). It is a three step system: a cleanser, a toner and an overnight restorative cream. Lastly I use TM-61 Hydra-boost eye cream (3). and a dime size of the LA MER moisturizing cream (4).

n the morning I only have 8-10 minutes TOTAL every morning, so I have to prioritize which products to use. Since I do my skincare routine at night I just splash my face with a little warm water and quarter size of the Dermalogica “clearing skin wash” (1.). I then apply these amazing eye-revive under-eye Flash-patches from Patchology (2.) . They only need 5-minutes for their maximum effect. I always put mine on while I brush my teeth and put my contacts in. I then scoop out a dime size of the Sisley “restorative facial cream”(3.). I next use one pump of the no.28 primer from Hourglass (4.). It gives my face an all-over smooth surface so that my CC-cream or foundation glides on and stays all day. Lastly I use this lila.B “Aglow Face Mist” (5.) to wet my “beauty blender sponge” (6.) to apply my concealer ,cc-cream and/or foundation. I find that when I stick to this moisturizing routine in the summer, when I am especially dry.

I know when you see the price tag on some of these beauty products and even when only a fluid ounce-size-bottle doesn’t seem worth it. I have found that most every makeup, skincare or even department store, offers samples in just about any product. A sample size is usually enough to last 2-3 uses or days. Although these are MY go-to favorites for summer, I always like testing out other products.
